| The Ramses Hilton Hotel is located in the centre of Cairo on the banks of the river Nile. One of the hotels best features is the 'Wonders of the World' restaurant located on the 36th floor. It also has a small swimming pool, Sherlock Holmes theme pub, terrace cafe over looking the Nile and many business facilities with meeting rooms. Ramses Hilton Hotel Reviews Date of Travel : December 2005 Name : S. White Rating : Excellent 5/5 We stayed at this hotel as part of a twin centre trip into Cairo to see the Pyramids and Museum. It was booked by our agent in Cairo, so did not know what to expect before we arrived, and were pleasently surprised. Our bags were taken off us when we checked in and by the time we got to the room, they were on the bed. The staff were very friendly and always on hand to do anything for you. The views from the Wonders of the World restaurant and bar are amazing and at night you can see the wonderful city of Cairo lit up in its entirety. Breakfast was whole-some and had plenty of choice. We spent 2 days here and took in everything Cairo had to offer. Its a very busy city and crossing the road can be a nightmare as there are so many cars.We would definatley stay in this or one of the other Hilton's in Cairo on our next visit. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ |
