The Jaz Oriental Resort Hotel is a superb beachfront hotel in the up and coming Egyptian resort of Marsa Mutruh. The hotel has many excellent facilities such as swimming pools, beach bar, disco, tennis courts, gym, archery, kids club and pool and shopping area.
The Jax Oriental has 212 rooms, all elegantly decorated and complete with full bathroom, air-conditioning, TV, telephone, balcony or terrace, mini bar and hairdryer. Most rooms have a Sea View.

An extremely clean hotel with staff that go out of their way to please their guests.
Although you are confined to the complex for the duration of your stay, there are plenty of facilities to keep you entertained including a lovely sauna, gym, tennis/football courts, archery, swimming pools and much more. Additionally, excursions can be organised via the hotel/holiday rep and are very reasonably priced.
The selection of food is excellent and the many chefs employed by this hotel will cater for all cuisines.
Within the complex are a variery of shops, albeit, overpriced but by the time you finish haggling, the prices are more than reasonable.
The Thomson Rep, Samir, is extremely professional, polite and considerate of Thomson's customers requirements.
Although a number of complaints were received from some hotel guests, it was quite obvious that the complaints being made were simply made for the purpose of trying to receive a few freebies from the hotel. Unfortunately, some people will complain for the sake of complaining or simply just to give them something to talk about to a fellow complainer.
This hotel and its staff are absolutely perfect and I would highly recommend it to all.
