Colourful coral and crystal clear warm waters make Sharm el Sheikh a perfect underwater paradise. Wonderful hotels, year round weather and only 5 hours flight from most UK airports make Sharm an excellent destination for families couples and sun worshipers alike. Sharm el Sheikh offers excursions for all age groups, such as quad biking through the desert at night, camel riding, shopping, glass bottom boat trips to see the beautiful coral and water parks. The diving facilities in Sharm el Sheikh are first class and whether you are a beginner or an experienced PADI diver you can enjoy scuba diving at any level. The 'Strip' in Naama Bay is full of shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants offering a wide range of goods and international food and drink. Be prepared to haggle in shops for the best price, but always agree one before buying anything. Ras Mohammed National Park is located on the southern most tip of Sinai and has unspoilt beaches and sand dunes. Tipping is not expected in Sharm el Sheikh, but excellent service should be rewarded.
