Website launched for Kiss Flights | | 14th October 2008 | The newly-launched Kiss Flights, which will operate flights only, has launched a website that features 11 destinations that the carrier will be serving from summer 2009.
Meridian Aviation, a brokering firm based at Gatwick, is describing Kiss Flights as a “dynamic travel company.” It confirmed that Kiss Flights is a Meridian Aviation trading name, and that the two companies share an address.
Kiss Flights prominently advertises ATOL-bonding protection on its new website, as well as its plans to connect Gatwick and Manchester airports with seven islands in Greece, the Egyptian resorts of Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh, the Turkish resort of Dalaman and the Canary Islands.
All 11 of these important holiday destinations for UK travellers were served by the failed XL Leisure Group and its airline XL Airways.
Freedom Flights management, under the new Kiss Flights company name, attended the recent ABTA convention in Gran Canaria. Freedom Flights was the seat-only unit of XL.
Meridian Aviation acts as the sales arm for Sweden-based Viking Airlines, which is set to operate flights for Kiss on two Boeing 737s.
Agents are addressed by the company on the new Kiss website, where it notes: “Our aim is to deliver outstanding service, competitive prices and commission to the independent travel agent,
“We've chosen the most popular destinations including Egypt, Greece, Turkey and the Canary Islands specifically for the independent travel trade and with the dynamic packaging market firmly in mind.” |
